Barbara Tociano, director of the Hampton Falls Library, NH to retire

Hampton Falls — At the end of August, when library director Barbara Tosiano retires, the town will say goodbye to one of its most dedicated public servants.

According to Selectman Ed Beattie, Tosiano will be missed.

“Barbara has added programs and expanded the library’s vision to include the community,” Beattie said. “This is especially true for the kids. For example, the tiles made by students at Lincoln Ackerman (the school) for our tricentennial celebration will be placed in the library.”

Beattie’s comments were backed up by his colleague Selectman Lou Gargiulo, who said his interactions with Tosiano were always “very professional”.

“She was very competent and always put the best interests of the library and the town first,” Gargiulo said. “And she’s a great advocate of the First Amendment. I wish her good health and a happy retirement.”
