Glen Carbon Library Book Sales

Editor’s Note: Intelligence personnel are required to submit briefings at least 10 days prior to the desired release date. The Glen Carbon Library will be hosting book sales this Thursday from 5-8pm and Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm. The auction was hosted by Friends of the Library, a non-profit organization of a group of volunteers who share the belief that libraries are important to the intellectual and cultural development of their communities.

Book sales must be paid by cash or check, credit cards are not currently accepted.

Fundraising Breakfast

Greta Beginner Knitting Set

Great for true beginners or those looking to update projects easily. Different intermediate skills will be introduced on a project-by-project basis. Edwardsville Symphony Orchestra Summer Concert Series – “Around the World”

7pm at City Park in Edwardsville, 101 South Buchanan Street. A pre-concert of Philz’Harmoniks directed by Phil Tinge will begin at 6:30pm. Around the World is a celebration of becoming a citizen of the world, with works from France, Argentina, Ukraine, Scotland and the United States.
