Margo Price Announces Upcoming Album ‘Strays’

Margo Price knows exactly what to expect when it comes to enjoying nature and creating art.

Announcing her upcoming album, wanderer, Price says:

“I feel the urgency to keep going, keep creating. You’re going to get stuck in the same mindset, the same cycle of addiction. But at one point you just have to say, ‘I’m going to be here, I’m going to enjoy it, and I’m not going to Putting in too much inventory for someone else to check the box.

The way I write now feels more mature, and I’m not just looking for massive crowds and accolades. I am trying to find what my soul needs. “

many wandererThe song was conceived during a mushroom tour in South Carolina by Price and her husband Jeremy Ivey. The tunes were then edited in the recording studios of Topanga Canyon, a hippie haven known for its pristine canyon roads and rich musical history.

Taking an experimental approach by incorporating new sounds and psychedelics, the album is scheduled to be released on January 13, 2023, via Loma Vista Records.
